Retail Branch Manager

Summary:

The primary responsibilities for the Branch Manager are Sales, Operations, and Community Marketing of his/her branch. The Branch Manager is responsible for continued growth of core deposits through establishing new relationships as well as retention of current customers. In addition, the Branch Manager oversees daily branch operations and ensures compliance to bank policy and procedures with an emphasis on high touch, quality customer service. The Branch Manager must project strong leadership skills with emphasis on the Bank's corporate culture and value system. The Branch Manager needs to develop a strong neighborhood presence through branch marketing and public relations in the community. The Branch Manager must exhibit a strong professional image, and promote the Bank's image within the community.

Relationships:

Reports directly to the Director of Branch Administration.

Supervises all retail employees at his/her location

Critical Competencies, Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Directly responsible for Retail Branch Operations, Sales, and Marketing

• Ensures compliance to bank policy and all government regulations

• Directs and/or assists in performance of tasks by the Retail Branch Employees, i.e. delegation of work, unusual problems or questions, explaining task and procedure etc.

• Demonstrates sound judgment, while adapting easily to change

• Performs audits, monitors branch expenses, and prepares various reports

• Must implement and maintain procedures to minimizes and prevent branch losses, i.e. fraud losses, teller differences, etc.

• Responsible for the maintenance of the branch facility and its compliance to city/county/state code

• Hire, supervise, coach, and motivate branch retail employees to be committed to the bank's corporate culture and value system

• Responsible for all security at the facility, i.e. security procedures, security staff, etc.

• Proactive in gaining new business, and effective in maintaining current customer relationships

• Project a pleasant, professional appearance with strong communication skills

• Able to promote the bank and develop a strong community presence

• Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment

• Possess good verbal and written communication skills

• The position requires lifting objects of 30lbs, reaching, and removing objects of 15lbs above height level, and bending to floor level

• The position requires a valid driver's license and access to a personal motor vehicle for travel to other locations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

• Some experience in branch management as well as full understanding of retail operations and community marketing

Summary:

The Personal Banker position is responsible for providing excellent customer service by identifying and meeting the needs of our customers while building strong, loyal relationships. This position requires a proactive approach in evaluating customer needs and advising them of the most beneficial products and services offered. In addition, this position actively finds and nurtures new customer relationships both internally/externally. Personal Bankers are required to be extremely knowledgeable in bank policy and procedures, as well as IRS and Bank regulations. This position requires the ability to multi-task and respond quickly and efficiently to the customers needs. A professional image along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Required:

-Experience in branch sales or retail sales of products and services, based on customer needs and relationships

-Minimum of one (1) year of previous experience in retail sales in the financial/banking industry preferred

-Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

-High School diploma or equivalent is required, Associates or higher degree preferred.

• Knowledge of all bank products and ability to conduct all Personal Banking account transactions
