Full-time Relationship Banker

Summary:

The primary responsibilities of the Relationship Banker are Sales, Operations, and Community Marketing of the Bank. The Relationship Banker works as the primary customer service contact, and handles all teller and personal banking responsibilities. The Relationship Banker evaluates customer needs and advises the customer of the most beneficial products and services. The Relationship Banker will ensure the customer's needs are achieved by conducting a thorough financial needs assessment and offering the most appropriate products and services that fulfill the customer's immediate and future financial needs. Relationship Banking Branch Manager

Summary:

The primary responsibilities of the Branch Manager are sales, operations and community marketing. The Branch Manager is responsible for ongoing growth of core deposits by establishing new relationships as well as retention of current customers. In addition, the Branch Manager oversees daily branch operations and ensures compliance to bank policies and procedures. The Branch Manager must exhibit strong leadership skills with emphasis on the Bank's corporate culture and value system. On an ongoing basis, the Branch Manager will select, direct, develop and evaluate staff. The Branch Manager develops a strong neighborhood presence through branch marketing and public relations in the community. The Branch Manager must exhibit an excellent professional image and promote the Bank's image within the community.

Primary Responsibilities:

Sales

  • Directly responsible for retail branch operations, sales, and marketing
  • Responsible for setting and assigning retail goals
  • Hold employees accountable for achieving retail sales goals
  • Responsible for achieving the overall branch sales goals and growing the branch profitability

  • Provide consistent coaching and feedback to employees to improve performance
  • Create and maintain formalized recordkeeping systems to note employee's accomplishments as well as performance deficiencies
  • Identify development deficiencies of employees. Monitors employee's performance for continued progress. Develop a plan to address performance deficiencies and monitors the level of improvement, taking additional corrective action as warranted
  • Responsible for initial and follow-up training of all staff to satisfy position expectations
  • Facilitate staff meetings to address sales and operational strategies

Safety and Security

  • Responsible for all security at the facility, i.e. security procedures, security staff, etc.
  • Responsible for testing, operating, and maintaining appropriate security devices
  • Implements and maintains procedures, including adherence to the audit schedule, to minimize and prevent branch losses, i.e. fraud losses, teller differences, etc.

Facility

  • Responsible for the maintenance of the branch facility and its compliance with city/county/state codes and regulations
  • Responsible for input as it relates to annual departmental budget
  • Responsible for meeting individual and departmental budgeting goals on a monthly and annual basis

Small Business Administration Loan Officer

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the SBA Loan Officer is the procurement and development of a strong SBA portfolio based upon the principles and guidelines set forth within the Bank's Commercial Lending and SBA Policy. The Bank is interested in funding both 7(a) and 504 loans, but the emphasis should be on 7(a) loans. The foundation for this portfolio is centered on the relationship between the Lender and his Clients. Central to the development of these relationships is the leadership provided by the Officer through a commitment to the Bank's corporate culture and value system while demonstrating the highest level of integrity and trust.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of the appropriate underwriting criteria for the development of a solid SBA loan portfolio
  • The ability to maintain and safely grow the loan portfolio
  • A thorough knowledge of the Bank's Commercial Lending Policy, SBA Policy, and the Federal Regulations that shape said policies
  • Strong analytical, judgment and decision making skills
  • A solid understanding of a Client's financial needs as well as financial capacity
  • A working knowledge of the various types of real estate appraisals in conjunction with the real estate appraisal review process
  • A working knowledge of environmental phase reports as they relate to property contamination.
  • An understanding of the importance of the annual loan review process
  • Ability to monitor, recognize and react to changes, both negative and positive, within the loan portfolio.
  • Effective management of a Client's deposit relationship
  • Proactive interaction with Legal Consul regarding changes in credit quality within the loan portfolio
  • Ability to work as part of a team to execute strategies aligned with Bank vision and consistent with Bank's strategic plan

Residential Mortgage Loan Processor/Closer

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Residential Mortgage Loan Processor and Closer is to provide support to the assigned loan officer (s) in all facets of the mortgage lending process. This individual must exercise sound judgment and decision making capability when processing and closing a mortgage loan under the guidelines of the State Bank of Countryside and its investors' standard operating procedures. As a liaison between the loan officer and the client, the individual must exemplify the highest levels of trust and integrity.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for processing conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loan; both purchases and refinances
  • Specific processing duties will include but not limited to the collection and analyzing of credit reports, purchase contracts, verifying employment, ordering title, and other required documents and activities needed to clear file to close
  • Prepare and monitor closing checklists and settlement packages to satisfy bank and approved investors' guidelines and requirements.
  • Responsible for reviewing and ensuring all signed closing documents are received and executed properly.
  • Perform post close review of mortgage documents and delivery to investors.
  • Review Homeowner, Flood, and Condo Blanket insurance policies to ensure sufficient coverage based on the current guidelines.
  • Work closely with borrower to answer questions to ensure understanding of loan process, with attention to customer service and closing details
  • Act as closing agent for loan, reviewing all documentation for accuracy and completion of file
  • Process all funding disbursements on closed loans
  • Maintain updated/complete file documentation for timely audits
  • Demonstrates effective communication, both written and verbal
  • Ability to operate and complete tasks within accordance to the Bank's policies and procedures
  • Working knowledge of regulatory lending compliance and standards including but not limited to RESPA, HMDA, and HUD
  • Understanding and adherence to all Bank Policies and Procedures

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, minimum 2 year associates degree
