FDIC: Deposit Insurance Coverage Increase

On October 3, 2008, FDIC deposit insurance temporarily increased from $100,000 to $250,000 per depositor through December 31, 2013. Retirement accounts, which are already insured for up to $250,000, will remain at that level. You can be insured up to $55 million with State Bank of Countryside’s Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service (CDARS®) program. Click here for more details about our CDARS program.
