SBC Mobile Banking makes it easier than ever to do your banking from anywhere! It's free and easy to use, plus, it's safe and secure too. You can check your balances, transfer funds, find an ATM location and more. You must be enrolled in SBC Internet Banking to take advantage of mobile banking, so if you are not using our Internet Banking service, we encourage you to sign up today. There are THREE ways for you to enjoy banking on the go, depending on the type of phone you have:


Text Banking – Any text compatible mobile device

Mobile Web Banking – Mobile phones with Internet access

SBC Mobile Banking App – iPhone® & Android™ smartphones can install the SBC Mobile Banking App.


For iPhone® and Android™ users, simply search for "State Bank of Countryside" in Apple App store or Google Play store. Then, download the app and log into it using your SBC Internet Banking credentials.

How much does SBC Mobile Banking cost?

The SBC Mobile Banking App is a free service – customers must first be enrolled for SBC Internet Banking. Message and Data rates may apply.


Do I need Mobile Web access to use SBC Mobile Banking?

No because we also offer Text Banking. Any mobile phone with texting capabilities can instantly view balances, recent transactions and receive text alerts. Standard text rates apply.


What types of mobile phones can I use with Mobile Banking?

  • Text Banking – Any text compatible mobile device
  • Mobile Web Banking – Mobile phones with Internet access
  • Smart Phone App – iPhone® & Android™ smart phones can install the SBC Mobile Banking App.

Other smart phones do not have State Bank of Countryside App available at this time.


What phone Operating Systems (OS) can I use with the SBC Mobile Banking App?

Android® (Version 2.0)

Operating system versions below v2.1 are not supported.

User installed operating system versions ('Custom ROMs') are not supported. Only operating systems installed by the manufacturer/carrier by default are supported.


Apple® (Version iOS 5.0)

Operating system versions v5 and above are supported.


What accounts can I access with SBC Mobile Banking?

SBC Mobile Banking will provide access to the same accounts that are viewable through SBC Internet Banking including checking, savings, CD's and loans.


How do I sign up for SBC Mobile Banking?

You must be enrolled in SBC Internet Banking. For iPhone® and Android™ users, you can simply download the App directly from the Apple App store or Google Play store. Follow the steps to logon using your user ID and password.


For non-smart phones, enrollment is completed through our SBC Internet Banking system.

  • Log on to SBC Internet Banking.
  • From the Options tab, choose "Mobile Banking Profile" and click on Enroll Now to select your services and preferences.
  • A text message will be delivered to your phone with easy instructions to activate your Mobile Banking service.

Is there a wait period after enrolling?

No. Once you've enrolled and activated the service, SBC Mobile Banking is ready to use.


What do I use for my SBC Mobile Banking App password?

The password used for SBC Mobile Banking App is the same as the password you use to log on to SBC Internet Banking. If you change your SBC Internet Banking password, your SBC Mobile Banking App password will change automatically too.


Is SBC Mobile Banking Secure?

Absolutely!

Text banking security:

  • View accounts by nicknames you set, not account numbers
  • No detailed personal information is sent

Mobile Web and Apps security:

  • 128-bit encryption masks your sensitive information
  • Password is required each time you log on
  • Consumer's private "picture and pass phrase" are displayed to protect against "phishing"

Is software required to be installed on my phone?

No software is required for SBC Mobile Banking, unless you choose to download and install the optional SBC Mobile Banking App.


How do I install the Smart Phone App?

For iPhone® and Android™ smart phones, you can simply download the App directly from the Apple App store or Google Play store. Search for "State Bank of Countryside" and the App will appear on the list.


How do I receive alerts on my mobile phone?

It's easy! You can change or cancel alerts anytime by logging on to SBC Internet Banking and modifying your alert preferences.


Can I pay bills through SBC Mobile Banking?

Yes, you can pay your bills right from your phone! However, you must be enrolled in our SBC Billpay service to access this feature. Also, you'll need to have the payee registered within your billpay before they can be paid from your phone. Meaning, if you realize your ComEd bill is due, but you haven't registered ComEd through Billpay yet, you will not be able to pay them through the Mobile Banking App. You'll need to register them first through SBC Billpay via SBC Internet Banking. When all of your payees are registered in Billpay, you will be able to view and modify pending payments too.


Mobile Web service is required for this level of service. Message and Data rates may apply. Not available with our Text Banking option.


What is the phone number to text in order to get my balances?

For SMS text banking functions, the number is 99588.


What is the balance that is reflected on my mobile phone?

Available Balance and Current Balance are both visible in mobile banking.


How can I change my services and preferences for SBC Mobile Banking?

To manage your SBC Mobile Banking options, please:

  • Log on to SBC Internet Banking.
  • From the Options tab, choose "Mobile Banking Profile"
  • Click on "Manage Devices"
